Groton Partners is a merchant bank with three complementary activities — Groton Advisory Services provides corporate financial advice, Groton Private Investments creates specialized investment opportunities and provides wealth management services, and Groton Fund Services provides capital raising and related services.

Our managing directors average more than 20 years of experience in top-ranked financial and investment institutions, including Lazard, Credit Suisse First Boston, Lehman Brothers, JP Morgan Chase, Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., Bankers Trust, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Ripplewood Holdings and OppenheimerFunds.

Groton's managing directors have extensive experience in all facets of investment banking and asset management, private equity investment and venture capital. Equally important are the established relationships that Groton's managing directors enjoy with corporate decision makers, large institutional and private investors, and top investment professionals worldwide.

Groton was founded in January 2003, and from inception the firm's managing directors have worked to create a new merchant banking model in which the firm provides bulge-bracket expertise in an entrepreneurial and collegial environment. Although organized as a limited liability company, Groton is run like a true partnership, one in which all managing directors have a voice and interest in the firm's direction and success.

Groton Advisory Services is designed to capitalize on the need for independent, highly-focused financial advice, based on extensive experience in international transactions and securities businesses.

Groton Private Investments is focused on finding and managing specialized and niche investment opportunities that deliver high quality and consistent returns for clients.

Groton Fund Services raises capital for third party private funds, advises on fund formation and structuring and offers ongoing investor related services.
